Steering Commite
The Steering Commite consist of the management group and the system engineers. Its purpose is to coordinate the development of the satellite subsystems while ensuring that the budgets are not exceeded.

Managing the AAUSAT II Project
AAUSAT-II is, just like its predecessor AAU Cubesat, a student project which is run almost entirely by the students themselves. This means that the students are either involved in or completely responsible for everything from applying for frequency allocation to taking specific subsystem decisions. The management group is involved mainly as supervisors who assist in fund raising and making the learning process smooth for the students.
This is possible as Aalborg University applies a problem and group oriented study form meaning that the students work in small teams on different problems instead of only attending lectures. This study form is ideal for the interdisciplinary art of satellite development and construction. See more here (http://www.aau.dk/international/engelsk/teaching.htm).
