About AAUSAT-II

AAUSAT-II is the second student build satellite from Aalborg University, Denmark.

AAUSAT-II is a cubesat type satellite which means

• 1U size: 10cm x 10cm x 10cm
• 1 kg max - AAUSAT-II weight about 725 gr
• Conforms to quality demands as given from our launch provider

Orbit

AAUSAT-II will be placed in a Low Earth Orbit(LEO) with in inklination of 98 degress and will fly about 630 km above the earth. This i known as an polar orbit.

In a LEO one orbit takes about 90 minutes, and the orbit is so low that radiation is at an acceptable level.
