Welcome to AAU Satlab

Who are we?

We are a student organisation formed in 2001, focused on designing, building and deploying our own CubeSats. Since then, students at AAU have successfully delivered 5 CubeSats to low earth orbit, and we are currently working on the 6th satellite: AAUSAT6

What can I expect?

At AAU Satlab you will be a part of the next generation of space engineers from AAU, you will learn what it takes to create reliable systems for space applications while gaining insight and connections to the booming satellite industry of Northern Jutland, your work will have a direct impact on AAUSAT6 in which your contributions will make it to space!

AAU Satlab is 100% student-driven, so if you are interested in seeing what it takes to get a satellite to space or run a student organisation, do not hesitate to drop by.

When do we meet?

We meet every Wednesday at 16:15 in the Satlab Mission Control Center (Frb7 C4-109), to share progress and discuss current topics. Aside from Wednesday meetings, we strive to meet the first weekend of the month, where we enjoy the teams' company and progress along.

How can I learn more?

You can participate in the Intro Evening, on September 24th, in room B2-104. Here we will introduce who we are, our mission, and the basics of what a CubeSat is, and what it requires to make it to space. Join the intro event!
